Warren J. Clark is the Managing Director of this family business, commencing in Townsville in 1983, initially as an electrical contractor,  Warren Clark Electrical Pty Ltd.

As it was difficult to get equipment when required to dig trenches and the like for his staff of 25 electricians, he commenced purchasing machinery of his own. Starting with a five ton excavator and skid steer loader, and employed his own operators. He learned to use them himself.Once people knew he had equipment they started booking the gear off him. before long more items were purchased to meet the demand, so the fleet grew and Clark's Excavations & Plant Hire Pty Ltd was born
